The Altar Guild prepares the altar for the celebration of the Eucharist or any of the other sacraments and
offices of the church. In addition to preparing the altar, we wash, iron and mend the altar linens, polish
the silver, etc. Some Altar Guild members, as well as other St. Matthias parishioners, use their bread-
making skills to supply our communion bread. Jennifer Fawaz coordinates the bread baking for St.
Matthias. If you have an interest in serving the Lord in this ministry, we would love to have you join
